Anybody think the new DirecTV Now will impact Netflix subscriptions? $35 a month for 100 channels (right now) pre-pay 3 months = free apple TV sign up = Amazon firestick
Ultimately they need to go to a la carte cable. No one needs 100 channels. The longer they drag their feet on this, the longer people will get used to "just Netflix". Just like some of us realized that we live without football for 6 months a year already, so why can't we avoid football for 364 days (maybe we'll watch the Commercial Bowl)?

I think it's real good for netflix. Now people can avoid using their data on their phones. Great for traveling, etc.

Same. I mean Amazon has some interesting originals but it's quite bleak compared to what Netflix offers.
It's not something I would describe as a must watch, but there's a decent chance you'll like it. It kind-of feels like a B-movie, but with a well-written protagonist who's portrayed by Kevin Spacey. I personally loved the show. It has its own, unique feel to it.
