An Apple-Nvidia partnership has a good future Since Nvidia (NASDAQ:NVDA) has clearly demonstrated the superiority of its Pascal architecture in performance and energy efficiency to AMD's (NYSE:AMD) Polaris, I have wondered if Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) would switch to Nvidia GPUs for its Macs. It now appears that such a transition is underway, although it may not be until sometime in 2017 that consumers will be able to buy a Mac with Nvidia inside.
