    The 1080ti is rumored to be making an appearance in early 2017, that is going to be a monster card!

    An Apple-Nvidia partnership has a good future

    Since Nvidia (NASDAQ:NVDA) has clearly demonstrated the superiority of its Pascal architecture in performance and energy efficiency to AMD's (NYSE:AMD) Polaris, I have wondered if Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) would switch to Nvidia GPUs for its Macs. It now appears that such a transition is underway, although it may not be until sometime in 2017 that consumers will be able to buy a Mac with Nvidia inside.

    So why do we think Nintendo will need to create their own GPU when there's plenty of good ones out there? Any ideas?

    "One of the reasons why I’m going to Washington is I want to talk to a lot of government customers and find out what they’re most interested in and what they want to find out about,” Nvidia chief scientist Bill Dally told VentureBeat in an interview. He is scheduled to give a keynote address at Nvidia’s GPU Technology Conference in Washington this week.
