I'm interested to see how Team USA does in international basketball.
Basically the game of basketball has changed drastically in the NBA. "Soft" perimeter shooters used to be denigrated from Europe, but are now the norm in the NBA, justified by advanced stats. I've been wondering if Euro leagues were buying into this whole "Team building by Advanced Stats" stuff like we have.

Today, the MVP Giannis got held to 13 points by a 39-year old guy and Brazil beat Greece. Don't worry, that 39-year old will never make the NBA because there's no place for just defense here! Brazil was led by 22 points from Sideshow Varejao who hasn't played in the NBA since 2017.

I think Team USA barely beat Turkey earlier today :p I would like to see Team USA to win the tournament but also want to see some close games rather than blowouts :p

Shocking indeed :( One of the greatest of all time and I think he was the closest thing to Jordan.

Can anyone here confirm for me that the remainder of the NBA season has been cancelled due to COVID-19?? Just saw the breaking headline from my phone and thought to log in here to confirm with someone from here as well. I can’t log in to the web from my mobile device atm. Thanks in advance.

They have suspended the entire season until further notice. Games that are in progress will finish, but any more games tonight/future are postponed. Someone on the Utah Jazz tested positive for COVID-19

    Bumping this.

Quote from Doc Rivers made me chuckle today, talking about Ben Simmons (currently of the Philadelphia 76ers):
"I am positive in Ben," Rivers said. "I'm very bullish on Ben still."

He's BUY BUY BUYing. Makes me smile to see the stock world crossover to basketball.

I still stand by this. With the Olympics coming up, I am looking forward to this. Also, I hear the Olympics has 3-on-3 halfcourt basketball this year. But the US didn't qualify. Would really like to see 1-on-1, it is a vastly different game from fullcourt 5-on-5.

A lot of star players are hurt in this Playoffs, that's the bad part. The good part I guess is that this Playoffs is now wide open, all 4 remaining teams have a pretty decent chance of winning the whole thing.

I can not believe the end to that Phoenix Suns game last night. That was the best finish to a NBA playoff game I have seen since Kahwai hit that 3pter to beat Philly in Game 7 a few years ago.

Suns up 2-0 heading to LA. Chris Paul will be back for Game 3. The Suns are a lot of fun to watch and have lots of talent. They did a great job building this team.

I dont think the Hawks have much of a chance to beat the Bucks but we shall see

Wait how the fuck did the USA not qualify for 3v3? Did they not participate?

Hoping for a Hawks/Suns finals. This has been the first interesting NBA playoffs I can remember in recent history.

He missed them with his team leading too.
Looking like it might be Chris Paul's year to get the monkey off his back.

Yeah the Suns are looking great if CP3 manages to stay healthy. I want the Bucks to win the most I guess but we will see.
