I'm interested to see how Team USA does in international basketball. Basically the game of basketball has changed drastically in the NBA. "Soft" perimeter shooters used to be denigrated from Europe, but are now the norm in the NBA, justified by advanced stats. I've been wondering if Euro leagues were buying into this whole "Team building by Advanced Stats" stuff like we have. Today, the MVP Giannis got held to 13 points by a 39-year old guy and Brazil beat Greece. Don't worry, that 39-year old will never make the NBA because there's no place for just defense here! Brazil was led by 22 points from Sideshow Varejao who hasn't played in the NBA since 2017.
