yeah no doubt! @T0rm3nted must be dancing the jig this week's game against the pats should be a good one. meanwhile, we got the super bowl champs in philly this week. no idea what to expect here, but glad to see greg olsen back in the offense, and also good to see thomas davis back from his 4-game suspension last week. that game against the skins last week was hard to watch. hopefully better luck for us tomorrow.
Bears down to 3-3 now.... apparently we have the best point differential in the division though, so maybe we're better than our record shows?
not too sure what to expect this week from the panthers, but a helluva comeback win last sunday in philly. i believe we had tied a franchise record for the largest comeback ... down 17-0 in the 2nd half, then scored 21 unanswered to close it out.
looking forward to this weekends games...especially my panthers after that horrific performance in pittsburgh on thursday night football the other week. that was reminiscent of the pre-2011 panthers. hopefully we'll have a nice bounce back in detroit on sunday.
Big game for the Bears Sunday night. Honestly feel like the winner takes the division. Then we get 3 days rest and play the Lions on Thanksgiving morning. Seems a bit unfair to start Sunday NIGHT and then Thanksgiving be the first game, but I guess success means getting flexed to night games on Sundays.
Won on short rest with the backup QB. Real test for the playoffs is going to be our defense vs the rams offense 2 games from now. That will tell us if we have any shot in the playoffs. Clearly the best defense that will make the NFC playoffs, but there are some real high-powered offenses to go through in the NFC.
looks like my panthers may be done for the season ... unless we can maybe run the table the rest of the way out (highly unlikely). bad time to put together a losing streak...especially against winnable teams.
You're currently tied in a wildcard spot, I wouldn't say you're out yet. Sucks that you have to play the Saints twice still though. Do me a favor and beat them at least once so the Bears have a chance at a bye week!
^^ haha yeah right ... we can't beat anyone right now! i don't even think we'll take down the browns this sunday. pretty disappointing way to go out if this is indeed the end of the road on the season here. what a shitty time for a losing streak. seems like our only hope now is to run the table the rest of the way (doubtful since as you said we play the saints twice!) and also will need help from other teams. not sure if it'll happen to be honest. i'm also going to the game on the 23rd against atlanta with my nephew and niece. could be a totally meaningless game though. =/
Huge game for the Bears tomorrow night. Will be a very good gauge to see how we will do in the playoffs if we make it to the Saints or Rams and their high-powered offense. If we can slow down the Rams, it will give me hope for the playoffs. If they blow us out, I'll have little to no hope of making the Super Bowl this year. I don't even care if we win tomorrow night as long as we slow their offense down quite a bit. Of course though, the win would be great! Gonna go out on a limb and predict a win! 26-23.
^^ Nice call last week @T0rm3nted Since my Panthers are all but done at this point (no way they're beating the Saints on MNF), I think ima root for the Bears. They are a fun bunch to watch.
Whelp, the Panthers playoff hopes all but dashed after yet another debacle of a loss against the Saints on MNF, in a game where the Panthers actually played pretty well, even enough so that they coulda won that one. Oh well, better luck next season I guess. Yours truly will be in attendance this Sunday against Atlanta. Pretty meaningless game, but gonna try to have a good time with my nephew and niece at least. Will try to take some pics and have them posted in here after the game.
Here we go. Couple pics as promised. Here's my nephew, niece and yours truly at today's Panthers game. Game sucked, but at least the weather was nice. (And no, it wasn't that empty at the stadium, these are just pre-game pics lol)
That's awesome of you to take the kids. Anyone else getting the sinking feeling that the Seahawks are going to win the Super Bowl this year?
I'm taking the Rams this year. Panthers need to fix the trenches and maybe a SS, then we're making a Superbowl run next year.
