^^ this it really blows when the refs decide the game ... what a joke ... it was pretty clear the refs were screwing the lightning over in a big way ... shame ... it was a great season for the lightning nonetheless! looking forward to next season ... not too sure about my 'canes though lol
Blackhawks took their regular every other year off of winning the Stanley Cup. We'll regain the cup next year.

Gordie Howe, known as 'Mr. Hockey,' dies at 88 http://goo.gl/19lc7O (Reuters) - Gordie Howe, known as "Mr. Hockey" for a tough but skillful playing style that shattered records over a career spanning five decades, died on Friday at the age of 88, the National Hockey League's Detroit Red Wings said. The cause of death was not disclosed. Howe suffered two strokes in October 2014 and from advanced dementia in recent years. Howe, a Canadian who spent his prime playing for the Detroit Red Wings of the National Hockey League (NHL), was considered one of the greatest hockey players of all time. He may have been eclipsed only by fellow countryman Wayne Gretzky in terms of goals and points, but not in grit and longevity. Howe attributed his long career, 33 seasons, in such a rough sport to passion.
Whelp, I seriously couldn't have asked for a more disappointing start to the season for the 'Canes thus far here. We've lost each of our first 2 games in OT. But, that doesn't say much. Fact: we've blown 3-goal leads in each of those first 2 games. Amazing! Better luck in Edmonton tonight hopefully...
yo @OldFart i missed your post last weekend what's up man! been a looooong time! good to see you around again ya, i see they're doing a little better now ... but still nothing to write home about yet! but the season is still young! i hope they continue to play well! it's been a little while since we've had a winning season down here.
Kind of lost interest here. But, I see the 'Canes are on a recent 4-game win streak. Not bad. If they continue doing well I'll get back to following/watching again especially as we get closer to the Spring and we get closer to the playoffs. Here's to hoping they can find a way to get in this season...even if it's the lowest seed!
