Damn, really didn't want the NHL's poster-boy getting another win. I guess the discussion on the best dynasty in the cap era isn't open and closed anymore with the Blackhawks.
Fun fact, the Canes new goalie Darling was the backup goalie for Chicago last year. Funner fact: I wanted them to keep him and trade away Crawford (Hawks starting goalie) so we would have a lot more cap space, and because I think Darling is just as good as him. Good luck to him this year, now I have a reason to root for the Canes
I remember in '13 when the Blackhawks started like 22-0-2 and won the Cup, hopefully you're in for something similar!
I really like to get back into following some hockey here, but the local team down here continues to stink up the joint. Likewise the case with the local basketball team. Guess I'll just have to wait until the baseball season gets going again...
And I'm in unknown territory as I hadn't discovered the great sport of Hockey until 2011 the year after the Hawks won their first of 3 cups. It's weird preferring losses this late in a season to improve draft position... At least I'm used to it as a Cubs fan though!
Ever since I came to live in Montreal, the Habs have got worse year after year. This city is crazy about their sports especially their hockey, it's a shame I haven't got to see a good team since I've been here. Right after I moved here permanently they traded away P.K. The city is still reeling from that shock it seems.
Haha I'm a Montreal Canadiens fan too! I hope they are able to sign John Tavares or draft someone really well in the upcoming draft.
I guess it is time for prediction. I was watching hockey last few weeks selecting games with contenders in my opinion.. so, I think Pens will be in the final game - damn, they look strong again and the other team would be - Nashville or Jets... If Nashville will be in final game I think they will take SC, if Jets will be in final game then Pens will take SC. However, I hope that Flyers will play very aggressive forecheck, boarding game with Pens and have full 7-game match.
