The deal could be announced within days, although there is always a possibility of a last-minute glitch, the source said, asking not to be identified because the negotiations are confidential. Qualcomm and NXP did not immediately respond to requests for comment. CNBC first reported that the companies were nearing a deal for $110 per share.

Annabelle, your trend line appears arbitrary to me and besides, trendlines are out of context for trading ranges. Probability favors continuation of the preceding trend for the resolution of this trading range. Also, there appears to be a general decline in volume as this trading range has developed indicating absorption by the large interests and less public involvement (bullish) and the retest attempt of the "Spring" at 63.78 fell short of the mark and had lower volume. I'm not seeing a lot of seller interest and might be inclined to a buy a dip below your line. Nothing personal, differences of opinion are what makes a market.
