Looking at ADX (Adams Diversified Equity Fund), they took a massive deep on November 19th, 2021. I have tried to understand what happened in the News, but nothing seems to explain. All I could find is an ex-dividend date (which actually exceeded expectations), is that the reason? Does anyone have any thoughts? Here is a screenshot of the stock: https://www.tradingview.com/x/zuV6WIuW/ Thanks - Thomas
The dividend. On 11/19/21 it went ex-div, paying a dividend of $2.83 and falling $2.88 from previous day's close. It looks like every year they do a special dividend in November.
@anotherdevilsadvocate, thank for your answer. Just to clarify, is it only the effect of the dividends paid on book value?
