I still have my 27 contracts at .42 a little over 1,200 bucks. Worthless LOL. They expire Mar 17th.. I look at them on my account every day. It helps remind me what gambling can do when it goes wrong. Paid my dues and became better at loss management. It also made me a trader instead of a investor. Instead of chasing the falling knife and getting slammed into the shark pit, let the sellers and shorts do their job " I"ll ride the short train with the flow to make a few bucks" once it finds established support then I jump in and ride it up. If it's a good quality stock that pays dividends I keep the profit in shares and recoup my cash for the next play. Much better than just buying some shares and hoping it recovers someday only to wake up deeper in the red everyday and being stranded.
It came into this trading range from strength. Supply did not pour into the market on the last decline; trading volume appears somewhat lower than the last time it came down into this price area in Oct 2014....not bearish....unless supply shows up. Weekly as of Thursdays close:
All signs as far as technicals point upwards here. Not sure what news will bring but I'm a buyer today.
I mentioned in the weekly thread that I might be playing this this week on a small gamble play, now I wish I would have got in at the open today! I was going to re-evaluate when I woke up today, but being on night shift I wasn't around until it was already up 13% today and I didn't want to chase it.
Word is FTC has closed door meeting on Thursday on the merger. I hope it keeps rising until then. I may bail before just in case.
IF I had gotten in, I'd probably be selling some right now, more around $4.50-$5, and then dumping it all before earnings/merger announcements after the close Wednesday or Thursday (didn't look up to see when it actually is, just know it was mid-late week). Good luck to those who were lucky enough to get in!
Dodged a bullet. Sold yesterday. I did throw couple hundred on 10 call options that appear to be worthless.
This fine lad sunk his entire IRA portfolio into RAD yesterday... Am I obligated to call 911 and notify the police of his highly likely suicide?
