I still believe the market cap is very low considering just the potential of the gold extraction technology alone...

On September 17, 2020, the Company announced a collaborative “green” test initiative with Mining and Process Solutions(“MPS”)in Australia. The test work initiatives would occur in North America and Australia utilizing Sixth Wave’s IXOS® molecular imprinted polymer and the MPS GlyCat process. The GlyCat process was developedto reduce cyanide consumption while maintaininggold recovery for gold ores from deposits that contain nuisance copper.

The Company and MPSare also working in collaboration with the Centre Technologique des Residus Industriels and a major top-10 gold producer in Canada. Thisproject aims to develop an environmentally friendly flow sheet for the gold mining industry. It will examine MPS’ acidic and alkaline leaching technologies together with the Company’s IXOS® technology. Testing is to be undertaken on ores provided by the Canadian mining partner.

COVID has resulted in some delays in the development of the Company’s IXOS® product due to challenges associated with travel to and from mine sites of potential partners. While this has delayed some testing, the Company continues to progress testing where possible and expects to find a suitable potential partner for pilot scale testing in the comingmonths.
Travel restrictions have also had an impact on the development of the Company’s Affinity platform for the separation of cannabinoids. The Company has had one worker fall ill with COVID and has occasionally delayed travel and testing due to site specific lockdowns and quarantines.

Sixth Wave Hits Key Achievement for a New & Innovative Rapid Detection System for COVID-19
    February 10, 2021
    https://investorintel.com/markets/b...novative-rapid-detection-system-for-covid-19/

In the cannabis extraction industry, Sixth Wave’s Affinity™ system can lower the cost by streamlining the process of capturing and extracting cannabinoids (THC and CBD) while still yielding high purity distillates and isolates.

In April 2020, Sixth Wave signed a deal with Green Envy for the purchase of at least three AffinityTM extraction units. Green Envy is a cannabinoid extraction company specializing in the production of high-quality concentrates, distillates, and edibles. Green Envy will integrate the AffinityTM units into its existing process platform for the production of full-spectrum distillates.

Sixth Wave expects to recognize revenue from this sale starting in the first fiscal quarter in 2021.

Well, looking at the overall market and the very low market cap of SIXW (currently C$35 Million) I am very confident that a share price move upwards will happen rather sooner than later. Because of Covid-19 there were delays, understandably.

This company is active in three very intriguing sectors:
    1. The IXOS Gold extraction unit apparently recovers additional 5 % to 10% of Gold with less impact on the environment
    2. Affinity™ Cannabis Extraction Product. They have over 135 Licensed Cannabis Producers for 250 units lined up.
    3. AMIPs virus detection technology
My investment thesis was based on the Gold Extraction technology. SIXW has as partners Cyplus (belonged previously to Evonik, a German multi-billion $ company) and Sumitomo (a Japanese multi-billion $ company), both major technology providers for the mining industry. This endorsement alone is worth more than the current market cap imo.

Once the recognized revenue from the sale of the sale of their first Affinity™ Cannabis Extraction Product starts in Q1 2021 we will be trading around C$1 imo. We’ll see…

Looks like according to the December 2020 presentation the "Second Pilot Plant Project" will start in Q2. Together with the expected first revenue of the Cannabis Extraction equipment expected at the end of Q1 these are imo two possible near term catalysts for the share price.

Sixth Wave’s Dr Jon Gluckman on the First Polymer for Detection of SARS-CoV-2
    16 February 2021

    “So what‘s next?”

“The diagnostic work is starting now to look at the sensitivity and selectivity elements of the polymer that we have made. We’ll have more data on that in the upcoming weeks and hopefully we’ll be starting to approach and achieve the same kinds of sensitivity as the PCR tests or even better.”

    Sixth Wave Demonstrates Colorimetric Detection
    of SARS-CoV-2 utilizing AMIPs™

    April 14, 2021
    https://sixthwave.com/sixth-wave-demonstrates-colorimetric-detection-of-sars-cov-2-utilizing-amips/

"Colorimetric detection is an important development for AMIPs™ technology,” said Dr. Jon Gluckman, President and CEO of Sixth Wave. “As previously disclosed, the AMIPs™ polymer captures the COVID-19 virus, as intended, and is now supported by three independent analytical methods. Two primary objectives of any rapid diagnostic tool are definitive results and ease of interpretation. Colorimetric Sensors can deliver on both fronts and this is a material step in that direction.

As previously disclosed, AMIPs™ are designed to be resistant to loss in efficacy due to virus mutation and emergence of variants which may change the specific antibody/antigen reaction but have yet to create gross changes to the size and shape of the Virus. AMIPs™ also has the potential to identify multiple types of viruses (coronavirus, influenza virus, rhinovirus etc.) in a single platform,” said Garrett Kraft, Sixth Wave’s Lead AMIPs™ researcher. “The confirmation of colorimetric detection from this test opens the possibility of deploying a palette of colors to identify multiple viruses in a single pass such as influenza AND COVID-19 with different colors for each. This potential for independent color coding is perhaps the most promising aspect of AMIPs™ as a versatile diagnostic tool. Ideally, our end AMIPs™ product will be a ‘Swiss Army Knife’ of sorts, performing multiple diagnostic tests in a single application.

    May 7, 2021

In this InvestorIntel interview, Dr. Gluckman went on to say that colorimetric detection is a method of identifying the presence of a target substance within a test sample by means of a color reagent. He added that the Company is evaluating the detection capabilities of the technology for all the active strains of SARS-CoV-2. Dr. Gluckman also provided an update on Sixth Wave’s letter of intent with Halucenex Life Sciences Inc. to explore a collaboration for the separation of compounds such as psilocybin, baeocystin, and others using molecularly imprinted polymers.

Sixth Wave Innovations Inc. Takes Next Step in Affinity™ Product Launch
    Halifax, Nova Scotia – (June 2, 2021)
    https://sixthwave.com/sixth-wave-innovations-inc-takes-next-step-in-affinity-product-launch/

Sixth Wave plans to deliver the first commercial Affinity™ System (the “System”) to Oregon-based Green Envy Extracts (the “Customer”) in Q4 this year assuming no unforeseen manufacturing/long lead item issues. The Customer purchase agreement requires that SIXW operate the system for a period of 60 to 90 days, producing a high purity full-spectrum cannabinoid distillate. Thereafter, SIXW will complete the already executed purchase order for the sale and installation of two additional GMP qualified units at the Customer’s sites. The Company expects that there will be quality/operational improvements that will be required as the first systems become operational on a commercial production basis. Once the first Affinity™ System has been thoroughly tested SIXW will begin to secure additional orders for delivery from customers in the pipeline. It is anticipated the Company will be able to deliver 3 or more Systems per quarter, depending on production capacity, during the remainder of 2022 with the ability to continue or expand delivery in 2022/2023. SIXW has arranged sufficient production capacity with AESI to meet or exceed our expansion schedule.

Overall, the Company believes that financial markets and consumer demand for cannabis-related products are bullish. The Company expects to see continued State-by-State legalization, which will promote the build-out of facilities resulting in the continued expansion of markets for the Affinity™ System.
