To the first question, that's why I have a trading plan on each trade. I'm also willing to abandon early if things change. I also only have like 8-10% of my portfolio in each position I have open and usually only have at most like half my money in the market. To the second question, absolutely. Now you just annualize that return and say over the next 10 years how much money you'll have.
Virgin Galactic seems like a trading stock to me, but I know nothing about trading so perhaps it isn't. I doubt many people share my view of Virgin having the potential to make trans-global flights in 90 minutes, 10 years from now, nor do they have the patience to buy and hold like I am doing. I've mocked my 100 shares of SPCE, as though they matter but they do not. They are nothing more than my homage to Rutan and Branson, two of the most amazing men in the world.
I wonder how long Richard Branson will hold onto Virgin Galactic. Normally, I wouldn't expect him to sell but he is fighting to save his airline. Early on, Virgin Galactic was going to use a SpaceX second stage. It was a simpler time. SpaceX pulled out of that deal and now have no interest in aircraft based launches. I expect this is an existential struggle for Virgin Galactic, caused by Richard Branson's portfolio, but it's an interesting company doing interesting things with Burt Rutan, one of my heros.
i don't know if i buy into the reason indicated below for the uptick, but nonetheless here it is. ---------------------- Shares of several industrial companies are trading higher amid positive vaccine and treatment news which could help accelerate economic activity. Nov 11, 2020 10:42a ET
Hello Fellow SPCE Investors, beautiful day today! I made a quick followup video to yesterdays stock analysis, I hope you find it helpful:
Anyone get into SPCE? Doubled my entry point in one account. Very happy so far. Sold some shares at $35 and got into AI under $100.

This will be my next INVESTMENT, not wise at this level. Never was intended, but merely to show my support for Chamath Palihapitiya for his role in the GME crusade. Update in at 44.50.
Something is seriously wrong when I enter a position at the top and it goes green, Sniff Sniff, as a investor I'm not concerned with daily fluctuations. I just lied. LOL
