Got AGI at $5.83 yesterday to bet on gold to bounce today. Working out so far, probably selling before end of the day since only half day tomorrow and the jobs report coming up Friday. Don’t want to take a risk that the report is strong and sending gold much lower
Quite a divergence in interest rates: 30y is -1.76% 10y is -2.7% 2y is -1.88% but on the short end 1m is +1.64% 3m is +0.81%
I mean this has been a triple tested support level on the weekly, but the long-term down-trend is scary. First chart is weekly, 2nd chart is daily. The lower white line is the weekly support dating back to Feb '16, top white line is daily support dating back to a little before the start of the year.

I just woke up and missed the trading day. Looks like a miss for the ADP this morning. Bad news lately is good news for the market since the market is cheering for a rate cut

back from vaca a day early due to inclement weather. is it just me, or did they screw up the scheduling a bit with the market holidays this year? like i get thursday should be closed (duh) for the holiday. but why does the day before the holiday get an early close, but the day after a full day? makes no sense at all...it should honestly be reversed imho. wednesday should have been a full day, then friday a shortened day. isn't that how it is for turkey day usually, where that thursday is closed then the following day (friday) is a shortened day. oh well. fine by me as i get to catch the final few hours of the day today at least lol i hope everyone had an amazing 4th!!
