GRUB reports after the close on 8/3. I may join you on this gamble, obviously with a small position since it's simply an earnings play.
The business model sucks. Requires you to leave your home, drive to crowded mall, find parking, arrive at specific time, overpay for popcorn and soda (which by the way is also passe snacks), and deal with a possibly bad audience. And I haven't even talked about (the quality of) the movie yet! From these ashes, they will have to be reborn or die forever.
Small caps have really underperformed against big caps lately, I guess it is due to the dollar weakness that would benefit the big multinationals rather than the domestic companies

FIT and GPRO both jumped after earnings, I guess sometimes it works into your favor when you have low expectations

Yeah I was worried it was going to get hit hard, it's buying Eat24 from YELP. Sometimes acquirers get hit on news like that, but I guess it's not a bad thing in a crowded space with upside.
