Twitter must be adjusting my "likes" or "followers". I've seen video evidence of them tampering with "likes" on Ivanka Trumps posts. The numbers were being adjusted back and forth.
After watching the testimony today, I'd say they're pretty serious about the rate cut. He did also say they'd "absolutely" consider raising rates if necessary but it sounds like geopolitical uncertainty is the main driver behind the cut logic and it got even more uncertain with France today.
Yeah Powell had a chance to walk back the rate cut expectations and he didn't, would be a big shock if the FED doesn't cut in its meeting this month.
