whelp, the markets made some more history at the close today... first the nasdaq- today's closing ATH on the nasdaq comp was its 63rd record close of the year, breaking the previous record of 62 from 1980! second the s&p500- today's close on the s&p500 was its 44th consecutive trading day w/o a -0.50% drop ... that ties the longest streak from 1995! and finally all 3 of the major indices (dj30, sp500, nasdaq) closed at ATHs on the same day for the 26th time this year, which breaks the previous record of 25 back in 1995.

Well this market just continue to grind higher Right now it looks like we will just have a very calm year. If we get stronger oil prices into end of the year then it should bode well for the santa claus rally too
