@Tiptopptrader Tim's market wraps and stocks to watch are awesome. Probably the best market wrap sector analysis on the web. Here's some of his older stuff if you are interested... https://vimeo.com/alphawolftrading
8:46am = 15yr anniv. of 9/11 this was cnbc's coverage as it happened in the very initial moments with the late mark haines who couldn't have done it any better covering that morning imho... Spoiler: CNBC 9/11 AS IT HAPPENED one of the worst days for me personally as i actually knew someone who lost a loved one that day ...
btw for anyone wondering ... Tim's @Vegastrader66 live stocks-to-watch stream this morning @ 11am eastern can be found at the follow link: http://ticker.tv/vegastrader66 i think i can squeeze in a few minutes this morning ... not sure if i'll be able to stick around for the entire stream though ... but of course you get each stream archived at that link that i posted above so i'll definitely be sure to check the rest out on the archive a little later today! looking forward to it EDIT: whoops! i completely forgot that he said that he might not do one this morning on his market wrap video!

The axiom that says 'markets take the stairs up and the elevator down' is true not just of markets, but of the path many traders forge. $212.19 SPY is the key short term level to watch for. If that level does not hold firmly, there isn't much of the way of the index trading down to $210.75. $207.15 is the ideal point to go long, but if the index finds it hard to hold above $206.90 through the first quarter 2017, you have to think twice of a possible larger roll-over. Only a trade back above $216 neutralizes the threat, but it will take a break of the highs to push the index to the 2300 level.
17556 is the 100 SMA. It is also the level were the index has found support throughout the year. Broadly speaking, if the index closes below this by year end, I'd be cautious heading into the start of next year.
I think anything non above SPX 2120 is a nice buy zone for bulls, if it happens [Actually, it hit 2119 at the start of today's session]. I entered lot 1 at 2133 last Friday. It is 2133 right now at 7:56 a.m. PST. I am expecting that a test of 2050 is likely at some point--even sometime this week. So, 2133 should be fine. But, if it collapses non above 2120, I am thinking about entering long with with what I am calling "lot 2."
