Wow what a day for TWTR Haven’t looked at their earnings yet, have they finally figured out a way to monetize? CELG getting hammered though, it is the favorite biotech stock for a lot of people and I think Jim Cramer loves it

Drugstore stocks tumble on report Amazon getting pharmacy licenses in multiple states https://www.cnbc.com/amp/2017/10/26...ing-pharmacy-licenses-in-multiple-states.html
From the little summary I read, it's not even that lol. For years they've been overstating the number of users, is one negative point. And although users were up this quarter, they had less advertising revenue. So they need to figure out how to get advertisers to pay for their ad space. In spite of these negatives, stock reacted positively so that's something to keep in mind. Any interest in the packaged food companies finding a bottom? SJM, CPB, HRL.
good morning traders! this morning's pre-market post is now up for anyone interested to get a quick read before the open- 10/27 Friday Stock Market Movers & News <-- click there to open. hope everyone has a great friday!
Wow Nasdaq up 1.6% while Dow is flat. It's eye-opening how much difference just 3 companies could make to a whole index, and exclude another index. The average QQQ move is just 0.6%.
that was a pretty large beat on q3 gdp this morning. that's 2 quarters in a row of >3% growth. curious if we can make it to 3 quarters in a row. we haven't seen that since 2004. think there's a pretty legit shot of it happening.
Yeah pretty much tech driven rally today, some ETFs on my watchlist actually down today if they don’t have a lot of tech stocks in them
We will see if they stay at 3% or more after the revision, but yeah it would be pretty impressive if we have 3% or better growth for 3 quarters in a row Next quarter actually looking good for 3% or better since it should get some positive impacts from the rebuilding after the hurricanes. Seems like bond yields actually dropped though despite the GDP, seems like they are pointing that Powell is now the favorite to win the FED Chair position causing the dips in yields
