VIPS is the word - onlne China - terrific earnings last week - $8.11 good entry pt. imo; WIX warming up in the bullpen...OCUL doesn't want to go below $4 - QD - hopeless
Woke up VERY late but see that my re-entry into GROW is paying off! Off to see if i can maybe scalp a little over on $500 Growth account. bbl
lol whoopie - i got a $4 GROW scalp so only need $12.86 to get me back up to $500 so i can start over AND i am now seeing that i coulda made that $12 + extra if i had just been a bit more patient lot's of nice plays today... @Neil Allen RIOT doing really well Might be some hope for NVAX - up to $1.60's with 40 cents to go to get me green BUT is overbought so....
Reuters 11/24/17: "China online finance regulator tells unqualified micro-lenders to stop lending" - this effects the following China ADRs: QD - XRF - YRD - PPDF - CCCR - etc.
Not sure based on your post SO you do know RIOT & UEPS were your calls, yes? So good call on both counts Both were overbought & i expected both to go south but only UEPS did after little pop on Friday morning & too bad i didn't play RIOT & hope you did
...lol...i thought RIOT & UEPS were your calls - i may have noticed unusual vol. or AH activity and mentioned them as swing trades for u; either way, they're two worth watching in the near term; also, China crackdown on lenders has killed QD - timing of IPO couldn't have been worse - XNET not effected.
Morning GROW is still growing - took some profits but keeping some for higher (i hope). OCUL SO tempting in the $3's. CALA definitely finished with $9's ( i think)
China online lenders coming back: QD + 17% -- XRF + 4% - (gov't action applies to unqualified lenders)
mornin' -- agreed CALA a good bet from here - CARA - doing nothing - OCUL - oversold - any lower and some big fish may buy em' cheap...
XRF: $7.75 - down in sympathy with QD; but, earnings were terrific: Third Quarter 2017 Financial Highlights: Total gross billings on transaction and service fees[ grew by 125% year-over-year to $43.1 million, or 76% over the previous quarter.Gross billings from consumption loans facilitated grew by 1258% year-over-year, representing more than a 12 times year-over-year increase, to $29.8 million, or 126% over the previous quarter.Gross billings from lifestyle loans facilitated were down 21% year-over-year to $13.4 million but up 18% sequentially over last quarter.Consumption loans facilitated account for 69% of total gross billings and are rising rapidly.Net revenue increased by 62% year-over-year to $27.2 million (after netting off customer acquisition incentives of $13.9 million) from $16.8 million (after netting off customer acquisition incentives of $1.5 million) in the prior year period, and 79% over the previous quarter from $15.2 million (after netting off customer acquisition incentives of $8.1 million) in the previous quarter.
bought OCUL - only $3.75 away from zero looking for a squeeeeeeeze (2) upgrades last week: Ford Equity Research upgrades OCULAR THERAPEUTIX INC from SELL to HOLD. Zacks Investment Research, Inc. upgrades OCULAR THERAPEUTIX INC from SELL to HOLD. Guggenheim still has buy rating. The company's lead product candidate, DEXTENZA (dexamethasone insert) 0.4 mg for intracanalicular use has completed Phase 3 clinical development for the treatment of ocular pain
lol @Neil Allen OCUL probably won't go to zero AND pretty sure i posted what i think about those analysts & their upgrades - don't seem to mean much You still in SQ? Have given up shorting XNET for the time being - crazy stock than makes absolutely no sense! PETZ - was hoping for lower than $8's but not happening - oversold & chart bullish so may be moving back over $10 soon.
so much for holding some GROW - out with not as much as i could have had but still nice $. RDFN on radar.
Mon. movers: JMEI: $3.23 + 11% / SIFY: $1.73 + 8% watching: SOGO: $13.13 -- WIX: $55.55 -- CRMD: $0.53
i know, but i like to see positive news ; still in SQ - only down because of lower bitcoin predictions; OCUL may hit rock bottom today @ $2.98
