Jeff Bezos has got to be secretly fuming as his July 20th launch into outer space was trumped when Sir Richard Branson announced that himself and his Virgin Galactic will launch on July 11th. Hopefully both of these men have successful trips. Who would have thought, the year 2021 we would have 2 individual, non-government affiliated people launching into space with promises of delivering this experience to the general public in the future. Virgin Galactic's model of having the rocket pulled behind/under a plane and launched from the atmosphere instead of launching from the ground like we are used to seeing with traditional NASA launches could be a complete game-changer for space exploration and travel. What's the over/under on both of them having successful launches and returning to Earth alive?
We wont know if they will make back alive its new space rocket lol i wont say if iwant them to return or not lo!
Sure we will. Both of them will be Live Streaming. If Bezos blows-up on the launch pad, we will all see it
Branson has the safest re-entry system IMO. You fly back and glide to the runway. The VTOL system that Bezos and SpaceX use just seems a bit riskier on landing, but Im sure they have testing it enough times that Bezos is confident enough to go himself.
Yeah that's very true cuz I think they've done flights or something like that without people or at least I've seen or I think I heard with the like you said The landing part and all that that's kind of interesting or they might be doing some live streaming or do something on on there something like that it would be quite interesting to see I'm sure.
