The.....CORRECTION....continues. I have only two stocks up today.....of course.....HD and COST. YES.....I say we are in a correction. When it ends....who knows. The only good thing about it......it is NOT based on fundamentals. But....corrections often dont care about fundamentals....they are often IRRATIONAL events. Poor PLTR....as of today down by about.....15.94%.....after posting a HISTORIC EARNINGS BEAT. The stock was at an......ALL TIME HIGH....only ten days ago. It is being hit by a HUGE short attack. As usual I will just....RIDE IT OUT.
NVDA and the CORRECTION......since November 3...ten days....down by.....(-10.09%). ALSO....under short attack.
Since I sold a chunk of NVDA to put into the ART MARKET....in the form of a historic painting.....the stock has been BOTH....over and under where I sold. I sold at about $188.15....on November 7, 2025. I have ZERO regrets. I NEVER try to time the markets. Especially with short term money. AND....the funds for this painting were very short term money....since I had to come up with the cash within about 4 days. SO....I would be CRAZY to try to time the markets over 4 days. I just did what I ALWAYS do....bite the bullet and make the trade. Over the LONG TERM....I will be just fine. The markets will see to that. Of course the other side of the equation.....what is this painting worth? I got what I consider a very, very, good price....but....the art market is even more inscrutable than the stock markets. Things go in and out of favor....sometimes for decades. AND....at this moment what I paid....represents the market price for this painting....since that price was determined by the market in an auction with a willing seller and willing buyers bidding for it. ALL THAT MATTERS.....I am very happy with how everything in this deal worked out.
