WELL....it did not take long for the short term speculators and sellers to swoop in and trash the markets today. After STRONG pre-market action the NASDAQ is now RED and the gains in the SP500 have moderated. I see that now have only two GREEN stocks right now....PLTR and NVDA. HERE is the market today....even if the headline is a bit out of date already. YES.......thanks to THREE rate cuts the yield on the Ten Year Treasury......NEVER MIND.....it is not going down at all. In fact it is slightly going up. Unfortunately the current FED is caught up in politics, confusion, mental paralysis, and IDIOCY.......and.....is at this point a BIG hindrance to the economy that they are supposed to be helping to be successful. My....STORY OF THE YEAR.....for 2026 will be the new FED Chair. For investors.....probably the single most important event of 2026 and the next 2-3 years. NOT....due to rate cuts.....but due to ATTITUDE.

Looking at the actual financial news today.....and what is going on....by all accounts it should be a nice STRONG day in the markets. Unfortunately the short term is disconnected from REALITY and is killing the markets today. We have now seen ALL the big averages....the DOW.....the SP500....and the NASDAQ.....red, red, red.
Yeah, it seems whoever it has been always seems to fall out of favor at some point. I don't think that will ever change, but it would be nice if they all just stuck to the task at hand. Certainly they have their FOMC meetings and such, but all of the members touring around talking all the time really serves no purpose, other than speculation. I would like to see all of them avoid the extra outside commentary.
ONLY......eleven...... market days left in financial year 2025. I will NOT miss the markets that we have had to ENDURE over the past few months. BUT.....I am not saying anything will necessarily change as we hit the new year. The current markets just move on from fear-topic to fear-topic. As one economic millstone or report is successfully passed....the focus passes to the next one on the calendar. AND....the constant and relentless negative commentary....sets the tone for the markets. It is very difficult for the day to day markets to overcome a constant, negative, media.......WET BLANKET. Just about everything I see today is actually POSITIVE....or should be....if we operated in the world of REALITY. In any event.....I will move on from hanging out here....for now......and....hope that the day matures into the markets that we actually deserve.

Good to hear from you BigmaIx. For NVDA I will use.....NVDL.....GraniteShares 2X Long NVDA ETF. For PLTR I will use.....PLTU.....Direxton Daily PLTR Bul 2X ETF. For my little fraction of one Bitcoin....now worth about $1000 I use....IBIT....Ishares Bitcoin ETF. These leveraged products are very HIGH RISK......and supposedly NOT suitable for long term investing. I DO NOT recommend using them for long term investing. I am going to take a FLYER on these for the longer term since I will be using a small amount of.....found and free....money. BUYER BEWARE.
Hey...LORI. At Disney beware the MOST BRUTAL ride in the park......the SPINNING CUPS. When our kids were young we went to Disney parks a few times and.....the most extreme roller coaster...no problem. But...those cups and that spinning....KILLER.
