Hi T compliment for this thread.... I normally I follow this thread in silent (not to post irrelevant or O/T) but today I have to say a special thanks to you because I scalped ELP with a good green result ... keep them coming and I trade them
Nice comment from Wynn himself... Casino mogul Steve Wynn has unleashed a storm of controversy by telling investors in his gambling empire that his business caters to the wealthiest patrons because “nobody likes being around poor people — especially poor people.” Wonder if this will impact the price for a bit.
Looks like the wife is after Wynn's ass http://money.cnn.com/2016/04/08/investing/steve-wynn-rich-poor-macau-las-vegas-casinos/
Thank you for the kind words Ciao and glad you did good on ELP! YLC and Internationalstocks: without a doubt Steve Wynn is a different breed. His remarks about poor people were uncalled for. Regarding his wife Elaine Wynn, she was pushed out of the board unjustly in my opinion. She has been a staple in Vegas and in my opinion a class act...I hope she wins in court. It was a crazy day on Friday with the markets doing a reverse turn from a nice pop. I am happy to say all three of my swing plays fared well with WPX cracking through the upper bollinger band. As impeachment is getting closer in Brazil, ELP and BBD were on fire and held much of their gains when the markets went south. All three of these stocks are volatile and come with risk but the big swings have provided good rewards. CNTY looks to be a good swing play or day trade. It was on a uptrend before the market melted down and already had earnings.Current price is 6.15 CNTY Tiptop and Gil Oren's thoughts on entry price http://stockaholics.net/threads/cnty-century-casinos-inc.485/#post-1399

Beautiful place Ciao I am looking for some market to take some profits on ELP, BBD, and more on WPX and if oil can hit 40 that could be a big driver for WPX. All 3 held strong with big gains on Friday with the Market doing a big reverse from the morning highs. If market is down then I will probably put a bid in on CNTY http://stockaholics.net/threads/cnty-century-casinos-inc.485/#post-1399
Hi Tiptoptrader done a nice scalp on WPX... although I follow it as well was you that make me decided a BIG thanks if you pass my way I buy you a drink
I took profits on ELP, BBD, and WPX. When I saw weakness in ELP I sold the whole position as the profits were to good to resist and I am already looking for a reload.I still hold the bigger parts of my positions in BBD and WPX. Glad you made some money FastEddy! Today was a good day in the neighborhood. I sold into the rally as WPX and BBD were both overbought and above the upper BB. With that I have no positions in WPX, BBD, or ELP.. I hope to re-enter all 3 of these when conditions are right. My Scenario now is if the market is up tomorrow I will just watch my long's grow, if it is down I will be out looking for a bargain. I have WYNN on my shopping list again as it is being shorted the best I can tell. I am ready for a little break so either way the market wants to go I am good with. I trying to take a little break as I sold all my swing plays. I will wait for a decent pull back and then I will go to work. I just set watching most of my longs grow today but I did spot some unusual trading on MPEL. The link below will give some different thoughts on what is going on with MPEL (up 6.79% on heavy volume to close @16.99) MPEL http://stockaholics.net/threads/mpel-melco-crown-entertainment-limited.140/#post-2106 Gaming Stocks http://stockaholics.net/threads/gaming-stocks.134/#post-2113
ELP is down over 7% this morning but as it's swings can be large I may enter around a 10% drop. There is also a gap play around 7.37 that I already have a GTC bid in for.
I now have 1st tier bids in on WPX, ELP, and BBD. These sound familiar...LOL...Patience is needed for a good entry price as it could take a few days to few weeks to fill just depends on oil (WPX), markets, and with ELP and BBD the impeachment of the Brazil president. Current Bids (These prices could change the closer it gets to entry price) WPX at 7.05 ELP at 7.37 BBD at 7.07 (may take some time to get there)
I have added CHK to my list of bids. I normally trade stocks with good fundamentals but CHK is strictly a bounce/gap play. I have also updated the bid on WPX. Keep in mind that these prices could change as the charts and environment change. Some of the bids may seem low but with bad market conditions they all could be attainable. If I get one out of the 4 bids filled I will be good with that. For some time I have been getting ELP BBD and WPX filled over and over again. ELP 7.37 potential profit 13.49 % BBD 7.07 potential profit 15.7% WPX 6.30 potential profit 17% CHK 4.45 Gap play and 26% potential profit My longs BAC and VLY have picked up some nice gains in the last two days.
Your prayers were answered FastEddy, as oil is down and so is WPX and CHK at -3%+. We need to go much lower for a good entry point
