Tesla $TSLA now worth more than GM, making it the most valuable U.S. automaker https://techcrunch.com/2017/04/04/t...gm-making-it-the-most-valuable-u-s-automaker/
Tesla is NOT Valued at More Than General Motors and Ford. Hint: Enterprise Value Hence, it has much more space to go higher. I'm bullish!!! What do you think?
$TSLA 1.3 billion Chinese over 4 times US population on top of it all would be prob close 2 billion mark estimated, let's not forget EURO Piper "We are upgrading $TSLA from Neutral to Overweight, and increasing our price target from $223 to $368." (second highest pt on the st)
$TSLA continues to rally above $300. Tesla (TSLA) is a strong buy below $200 if we see another big correction.
Tesla is making a lot of noise in the news by claiming the top spot over Ford and GM as the price rises and causes market cap to rise. It's not all that much of an accomplishment and hope people don't get pulled into the hype. One just needs to look at Enterprise Value to see what is really taking place. Tesla has an Enterprise Value of 55.5 billion compared to GM's 110.9 billion and Ford's 148.9 billion. Also Morningstar has estimated 197 dollars per share as fair value.
Tesla board 'too close to Elon Musk' source: http://www.bbc.com/news/business-39583569 In a letter, they [including the California State Teachers Retirement System, Hermes Equity Ownership Services and CtW Investment Group] said the board was "largely unchanged" since the firm went public and at risk of "groupthink". They urged it to re-elect members annually and to add two new independent directors to the board. In a tweet Mr Musk said the investors "should buy Ford stock" instead. "While meeting the technical definition of independence, five of the six current non-executive directors have professional or personal ties to Mr Musk that could put at risk their ability to exercise independent judgment," the letter said. "A thoroughly independent board would provide a critical check on possible dysfunctional group dynamics, such as groupthink." LOL. So this group admits the board is independent, but wants instead their own "theoretical independence" -- face it no one is really thoroughly independent. Interesting how they are so certain of their theoretical alternative.

That is very interesting! Red is the color of fast sport cars! The stock being red means its a sports stock which moves fast and will be going higher soon! This analysis is rooted in the research of Buffett and he is a billionaire, so you know its good!
Following this logic, most of the stocks on the market should hit highs considering last couple weeks' action haha.
I am thinking we will see a pull back now to old resistence levels, so $280. Looking for an entry point around there as I think once the second reveal of Model 3 is made and the announcements of more Gigafactory sites (looking good for a China Gigafactory), the stock price will reverse then some. They are working hard on making their cars to be easier to manufacture so the Model Y will not have a Lead Acid battery and there will be changes to the power scheme - speculation it will be 5v. Also reducing wiring 15 fold from the Model S from 1.5km to 100 mtrs. (Do like the way Tesla use metric measures). All this adds up to faster production and as time is money this should come though into a higher gross profit margin in the future.
Shares of Tesla ($TSLA) moved lower in pre-market trading after the automaker reported a wider than expected first quarter loss despite revenue that exceeded analyst estimates.
