Elon Musk "My stock is overvalued". Market says today it's more overvalued. A stock rising on bad news is a "KEEPER". 339 By Friday.
I love that guy, he is such a straight shooter! He is right, the stock is overvalued, but so was AMZN for the last decade. The question is how long investors are willing to hold it at overvalued levels.
People who say hyperloop is different from this I say do you know what Tesla mission is? Accelerate the transition to sustainable energy.
I'm MUSK's enforcer. As long as I'm a bull shorts die a bad death of bankruptcy. Cover now or at 352 next week. Choice is yours
Been waiting for TSLA to come back and test the breakout of the trading range dating back to February 2014. If that range was accumulation and not distribution by the CM, then it has built a ton of cause, enough for an effect to about $925. However, so far there's been too much supply coming into the retest of the breakout. I'd like to see it test a little lower with lower volume than what it has been showing lately...to be sure that breakout was real and not just an upthrust-after-distribution (UTAD). Hopefully though, there's just still too many long-tailed momo monkeys in the tree that need to be shaken out. As for public short sellers, I welcome them as they are ultimately faithful buyers. Weekly Chart as of Thursday's close:
Yeah Elon is so low key in a velveteen rabbit sort of way. But I like Doug Kass too as a straight shooter and he says: According to my analysis, the shares of Tesla ( TSLA) remains substantially overvalued. The company has never made money selling into the most profitable segment of the auto market -- and people actually are projecting that Tesla will make money selling to the segment that has always been most challenging for manufacturers to profit from. I don't buy Elon Musk's claims that deliveries were weak because of a battery production problem. If so, why did they produce upwards of 3,000 more cars than were delivered? Musk has rarely ever delivered any product on time and has lost money on units sold to date, according to some measures. From my perch, he is a modern day PT Barnum. https://www.thestreet.com/story/142...-views.html?puc=yahoo&cm_ven=YAHOO&yptr=yahoo
The Model 3 is nothing SHORT of amazing. 0-60 in 6 seconds and 215 mile per charge. Car looks awesome inside and out.
They make amazing cars, but they don't make money on them. I understand that they have the cool factor, but one of the requirements for keeping a competitive advantage is that it's inimitable, or at least very costly to imitate. Guess who could build extremely competitive products? Every auto manufacturer (if it was profitable). Wait till government incentives stop. Bear.
Man I really hope this helps pull tech up tomorrow. I’m happy with this big gain but I need AMZN to pick up the pace here a bit.
Record miss but Elon "PT Barnum" Musk told the obsessed bulls everything they wanted to hear.....this is going to end badly....what a circus.
Not to mention he bought a failing solar company that he owned millions of shares in. I never seen someone awarded so handsomely for a non-profitable business. The sheep love it though.
Although he was the inventor n challenge others to implement his idea. Elon now has decided to put his hands on it and get it done. Think of 3 Companies coming all together at some point Boring , Space X, Tesla and will be the 1st Trillion $ Company.. contracts! Elon so far has achieved over 200mph speed having a Pod in the tunnel now what will be the ultimate idea there I would say combo design.
