We are in a cycle at moment. The key observation is that stick is hovering.. So bulls and bears can sink money... Glad I got out.

I lost confidence in Tesla after the master plan was released. Expected alot more than just solar roofs, buses and trucks and share rides. I agree with JPM price target 180 on short deliveries and lower guidance. Will short it to 8/3 and make a fortune!
This right here is one of those times when I strongly believe in what someone aims to do (Musk in this case) but I'm sceptical about how well they can execute their plan. I will be following Tesla for a bit longer before making a call whether to short it or not.
http://www.bloomberg.com/news/artic...is-tesla-master-plan-costing-tens-of-billions So, great news about the growth of this company. The stationary batteries are going to make even more money than the cars.
The first time I read this I thought it was "more than the cats". Good to know the growth potential is there.
When 2 highly leveraged companies merge ($TSLA, $SCTY), you do not get a stronger company, you get a larger company with the same weaknesses.
TSLA and FIT are perhaps two of the hardest stocks to track and trade. They both trade in a different world. $215.50 offers initial support. $183.50 is key for both the short and long term uptrend. $252.38 and $258.19 offer some overhead resistance. The stock broke out of a descending wedge but can't overcome overhead resistance. Until that price level is overcome, its best to be sidelined. In a steady uptrend, this is a $300+ stock.
Another thing to consider: TSLA diluted shares this quarter with an offering. Now in stocks with positive earnings, diluting is a drag to EPS. But TSLA has negative earnings, so diluting actually helps the EPS number.
Tesla (TSLA) Posts Q2 Loss of $1.06/Share; Deliveries Were 14,402 Units Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA) reported Q2 EPS of ($1.06), $0.50 worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.56). Revenue was $1.3 billion, versus the consensus of $1.62 billion. In Q2, we delivered 14,402 new vehicles consisting of 9,764 Model S and 4,638 Model X, which was slightly higher than what we stated in our July announcement. Model S remains the market share leader in North America and Europe among all comparably priced four-door sedans, and Model X is quickly gaining ground against similarly priced SUVs in all regions. Lot of bearish sentiments brewing, I believe it will lose 50% very soon. I also feel it is highly overvalued. I am thinking to sell.
10 dollar range is the new game in the town. 230 and 220 now is expected to be that game till otherwise it changes
New evidence suggests bigger 100 kWh battery for Tesla Model S and Model X New evidence has emerged that Tesla is preparing to release a 100 kWh battery option for its Model S and Model X cars. Both vehicles currently offer 90 kWh batteries as their largest capacity, and the increased size would boost their ranges — perhaps to as much as 380 miles for the Model S.
