This whole thing was just a joke to begin with.

Even if they hold him to the $1B cancellation fee, he can draw that out for years.

They will get nothing, watch. Attorneys will get paid though. When you're that intelligent and rich, there are no limitations. Just mind amusements. Everybody knows Twitter.

Yep, its all a big joke for Elon, he just loves the attention and he know nobody can force him to pay $1B, what will they do? Sue him?

Lawyers going to get rich of this and thats it.

I believe there is a chance Elon Musk will end up buying Twitter and the price will come in below $44B.

If I was a trader, I would hit TWTR right now. Fortunately, I am not because my track record has not been strong in this regard.

I say there is zero chance he goes through with it. $54.20 was a meme price he made up to begin with and he knew very well what the "bot problem" was before, the same way we all know just from being normal users.

The $1B penalty will be the entire court case, it will drag on for years as they argue about who broke what part of the agreement. Eventually there will be some small private settlement just to drop it and make it go away.

If all the bad news is out like the deal not going through and inflation is horrible, then we are probably close to a bottom.

I don't assume Elon will succeed and take over Twitter. I just don't count him out.

Its a big nothing burger, this time next year the story will be long forgotten and some sort of settlement will be agreed upon.

I don't know about the rest of the stock market, but TWTR had a great September. Going to close it up big on volume.

    Opinions.

Was thinking whole Twitter saga just a way for Elon to sell Tesla at high valuations just to free up some spare billions?

Interest rates are getting whacked up over the next few years. Holding more cash wouldn't be such a bad move right now. Didn't he sell a bunch of properties fairly recently (I haven't been watching him that closely, so could be wrong on that)?

Gets interesting by the minute. Have fun yanking chains for kicks and giggles. In the end buy the place like you originally intended, take it private, clean house and put the trash on the curb. Some very powerful people on board the Musk train. All aboard... Wooton woooo chug chug.
