Gold poured for first time in 30 years at Nevada’s Relief Canyon Mine News | March 6, 2020 Nevada News Group https://www.nnbw.com/news/gold-poured-for-first-time-in-30-years-at-nevadas-relief-canyon-mine/ Americas Gold spokesman Jack Perkins said the initial gold pour did not yield a significant amount of the precious metal and was intended primarily as a trial run for the upgraded refinery. “The recent gold pour was small and really just focused on testing the equipment,” he explained last week. “We are anticipating a substantial gold pour and a ribbon cutting ceremony in late April.” Otherwise, the mine “ramp up” is proceeding on schedule and within the $30 million budget, with 200,000 tons of ore stacked on the new leach pad. The mine is running 24 hours a day, with the goal of reaching maximum production capacity by stacking 14,500 tons of ore per day. The company’s consolidated gold equivalent production for 2020 is expected to reach 60,000-70,000 ounces, which would amount to an approximately 300 percent increase over 2019. In 2021, the company expects to produce 90,000-110,000 ounces of gold.
USAS looks cheap to me. The below numbers are with a gold price of $1,290. Market Cap of USAS is $136 Million. Do your own maths and which stocks to own in these challenging times. Gold will rise for sure midterm due to lots of spending by governments and low interest rates.
As long as the production of gold will not be negatively impacted by Corona USAS is a strong buy at current levels imo.
"USAS is a fabulous buy" (at 1:45 min) Pierre Lassonde: Broadcast Interview March 13, 2020 https://kingworldnews.com/pierre-lassonde-broadcast-interview-available-now-3-14/ Pierre was President of Newmont Mining Corporation from 2002 to 2006 and prior to that from 1982 to 2002 was a co-founder and co-CEO of the original Franco-Nevada. He is past Chair of the World Gold Council, author of The Gold Book and has served on many mining boards and industry committees and is recognized for his philanthropy.
Nevada and Corona Virus is the most important thing right now for USAS. Relief Canyon is about 100 km north east of Reno. On the map it looks like the area around Lovelock is not much populated. If USAS can continue without interuption the current levels are very very low imo... Gold now at $1.650 This means below numbers are 73 % higher. USAS is a screaming buy, commercial production a few weeks away... Some notable excerpts from a recent interview with the CEO of USAS: Americas Gold and Silver, Blasutti said, is in a good position. He explained that in Nevada, gold mining is considered an essential service. He said that the company’s Relief Canyon mine is close to commercial production after its first pour reported last month. Finally, Blasutti said that mining companies that are still working in the current environment need to show strong leadership and follow all recommended safety protocols. “If mining companies don’t take the appropriate safety measures and the virus spreads at mines, then they could be shut down and that is something we don’t want,” he said. “We have the opportunity to lead and show the world that we can safely protect our workers.” Friday March 27 Kitco News https://www.kitco.com/news/2020-03-...-ts-print-money-Americas-Gold-and-Silver.html
This is one of my fav stocks moving forward. Commercial production at Relief Canyon is expected for the end of Q2. With the current price of gold Relief Canyon will be a cash cow. Market cap is way too low imo...
USAS getting some love today. Obviously with a gold price of above $1,700 USAS is a screaming buy. Current market cap is 165 million. Commercial production is around the corner... New Company Presentation https://www.americas-gold.com/investors/presentations/ Slide 4 COVID-19 UPDATE Our operations in Nevada and Idaho continue to operate according to state government guidelines; challenges are present in getting key personnel, contractors, consultants and equipment to site Our Cosalá operations are currently impacted by an illegal blockade at site, which forced the Company to suspend mining activities at the end of January and as a result, the impact of the suspension of non-essential activities in Mexico is muted
New May Company Presentation available. Market cap of $210 Million is still very low imo. This should change once commercial production is achieved at Relief Canyon end of Q2. https://www.americas-gold.com/investors/presentations/ - Ramp-up to commercial production by end of Q2 proceeding - At current gold prices, Relief Canyon is a very high return project - Expected annual production of ~90,000 oz Au at AISC of ~$800/oz over an ~6 year initial mine life
Bought additional shares today. Yesterday USAS did a C$25 Million Bought Deal Public Offering to get Relief Canyon to commercial production. The financing is necessary mainly do to the Corona Virus impacts. Pierre Lassonde and Eric Sprott are both buying shares from the offering.
