I made two trades today on UVE and now it is starting to come back as the market has recovered some. The earnings were good but like a lot of stocks the markets were not kind during a sell off
Joined you today with a partial of what I intend. To increase my position need to see first more strenght.
UVE still dropping in this market melt down even though they beat on earnings. It was above the upper BB on earnings day on a meltdown day that could explain the drop as well as the Insurance sector down as it is today. I made another tier buy today when it dropped below 17...Markets getting worse as the DOW is now down 117 points
The 7.75 resistance I mentioned this morning was broke at the top of the upper BB, now profit taking in place. Currently 17.67 with HOD of 17.78 TipTops - Top Picks http://stockaholics.net/threads/tiptops-top-picks.122/#post-5727 Not a real time chart
UVE Crossed Above Their 50 Day DMA and I think a dip below 18, will be a good mid-term to long term hold and collect the 14 cent divi's Mid-term target 24 / Long term target 36
UVE continues the uptrend with the markets and the insurance sector down TipTops - Top Picks http://stockaholics.net/threads/tiptops-top-picks.122/#post-6418
Even as the markets have been brutal as of late, the uptrend for UVE continues and I think a break above $19 is quite possible in the near term. In fact I think it may have touched on Friday but there was too much pressure from the market but still UVE gained back 29 cents from profit taking to close @18.51
From what I read on another website there as been some insider buying but I have not confirmed that. As I feel it is a long term double from $18, I added to my position on the pullbacks below 18. The 3.07% yield is decent on the hold to higher prices.
I am not complaining but what's up with this guy today (+4.3%)? It is getting close to my near term target of $20 where I will be trimming. However, I might end up waiting for technicals/chart to tell me to sell
As the insurance sector was up with financials on a rate hike being on the table in June, gives more strength to a already mover. UVE has stair cased to the upper BB again. This gives more credibility to my mid term target of $24 and long term target of $36 while collecting a decent yield.
Sold my position @19. It seems to be consolidating for a possible upwards move but I just don't trust this market and current conditions. Not to mention there seems to be a strong resistance around this area (19.5-20.5). There are currently much more appealing options especially in retail sector. It also doesn't look very strong currently for some reason. Thanks to @Tiptopptrader for bringing this to my radar. I had my first position around @16.9 and got some more later in $17s. Overall slightly more than %10 gain in a month. Not bad. See you all again later if this thing decides to swing down again.
UVE got beat up yesterday with the insurance sector and markets down but a nice bounce today as it is trading higher than the sector
After the selloff yesterday form overbought it is business as usual for UVE. At this rate $20 should be in reach in the near term. Not a real time chart

UVE was down on the lowest volume since April 25th and then it up-trended from there. Will it repeat this, I can't say but I find no negative news and there has been recent insider buying.
