Isn't it something most investors wouldn't want being associated with? Porn, I mean.

I think there are more investors that don't care what they're invested in, than there are investors who wouldn't invest in something because it is involved in the porn industry.

Its just a driver, not a feature.

VHS won over Betamax because of porn, did we all have a problem with using VHS tapes?

What you say has much validity Chris but personally I have my values, I won't invest in tobacco related stocks either...but that's just me

Completely understand, and I'm not even saying I would invest it a VR company that was heavily invested in the porn industry. I just think MOST people don't care if it means making money.

Just to get a taste of VR I have been watching 360 videos on my phone with all lights off. Even with that I think it is pretty cool. I must admit, I was feeling the horror just by watching the video below

Couple other examples, just tilt your phone whichever way you want. If you mimic the moves you will get the best/closest full experience

As a gamer I kind f regret seeing developers waste time building VR support for some of the games I've been waiting for years. As an investor - I guess I should be happy about the upcoming changes.

As a gamer I'm kind of dual about it. That's not the first time they try to implement Virtual Reality in gaming, and so far none attempt had had success. On the other hand, this time A LOT of major companies are developing this technology. So, just maybe, they'll succeed this time?

I'm sure they will. Sony has build an affordable VR that comes with their new console in 2017. What is more important is that they have their own teams of developers working specifically on VR games.
Microsoft's Hololens future lies with enterprises, not consumers.

Yeah, affordability would be a massive benefit for many users. Me included! An idea of paying $700-$1000+ for a crude undeveloped technology (basically becoming a voluntary beta-tester) is kind of beyond me.

Samsung Gear VR users will be able to choose animated emoji reactions for every virtual reality video they enjoy on Facebook. The integration adds an additional layer of social interactivity to the experience and allows users to see their friends' reactions float across the screen.

    ABC News Virtual Reality Storytelling
Facebook rolled out its new reactions globally in February to the website, so an integration into the Gear VR, which is powered by the Facebook-owned Oculus, seems like a logical next step for the social network. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has previously said VR is a priority for the company.

The first video was uploaded in Feb 2016 so they could probably do a little bit better now. I like the 2nd one better

Exactly. And this is why Sony's VR will win. Mark my words.

Looks kind of artificial if you ask me. Don't feel like this is how things with 3D sense will work...
