Crazy spring so far... Last week teased with 50 to 60 then snow and then this morning my hummingbird feeders froze Oh, but what is this on the horizon? Finally leaving winter behind?

Right now it's pretty beautiful, 21 (so 68 F) and Sunny. But some kind of tree (or probably more than one) out there is trying to kill me. My allergies are terrible right now. I actually enjoy when it rains and all of the pollen is no longer floating around in the air and coming to get me. But other than that (cough, sneeze) it's wonderful!
yo @OldFart just heard about that tropical system that is just offshore near you ... looks like lots of rain headed your way man ... we could really use some of that rain here in the queen city ... it's been awfully dry all summer around here ... doesn't look like we're gonna get much of anything outta this one though :/
St. Petersburg got 9" of water yesterday. Sewers backed up at Treasure Island and spewed into the streets. Today might be worse. Nothing but rain at my house so far. Wind will pick up today. Close to 50 mph. Not that bad really.
@OldFart thx for the update man ... stay safe i was just checking out the latest forecast models for where they are projecting the storm to move ... looks like it will just miss us here in Charlotte ... earlier models were looking more promising but now it appears it will take more of an eastern turn ... damn we badly need the rain here ... friggin' summer has been hot & dry as hell ... woulda been nice if we even got a little bit of something out of it ... but nothing
