interesting bit of cooler air headed our way for the next couple of days ... typically we should be hitting the 80s if not the 90s quite easily by this time of the year ... not that i'm complaining though i'm really loving this

It's sunny and 68 for the first time in a long time! The heat wave is here! Five consecutive days of sunshine! What is this nonsense?! And I'll be on the east coast for most of it. Of course.
We finally have a storm shelter, so that takes the edge off a little! I decided last night was a good time for a "tornado drill" I used a stopwatch to see how long it would take my kid to get up, dressed, out the door and in the shelter without my help..... With 70mph winds and crap blowing everywhere, it felt like the real thing! But... It took him over 3 minutes... So we're gonna have to work on that! #tornadoalleylife
looking good here to start the long weekend ... will be heading out for some pool time with my nephew sometime this weekend our first of the season
Temps in the mid 90's this week.. Heat index over 100 already...... Ugh!!! Only one good thing about summer in Texas... Fried catfish!
JRICH The catfish king, man those look good. I don't have time right now but someday I will. Been working on the land when I can, weather is nice but touch n go with a lot of spotty rain lately. Notice the dark clouds in the background, 5 minutes later had to run for cover. Fixing to build the new house as I can, being slammed at work and this project leaves no time to focus on trading.
That's awesome man!... I'm just tryin to put food on the table, and you're building a whole new table! That's another passion of mine... Building!... Not to be confused with fixing, which I don't like..... If I have a wrench and a bolt in my hand, I'm probably not happy..... But a hammer and a nail is bliss! I've done tons of small projects, but never built a whole house.... Jealous! However, I did build a little house for our chickens last year

Long nose Pete??? Jrich.. Hot n humid here, took a week off from work/job to work on house site, installed water lines, septic system, digging house footings and dressing out the yard with topsoil. Took out about 3 dozen trees. Didn't make any money but saved a ton as opposed of hiring someone to do the jobs.. No trades this week, averaged down on my 2 long holds. SSW- MRO..
Yessir... Old 2007 379 with a Cat motor But, were about to replace the whole fleet with brand new 579's....... Slower and uglier, but man the sleepers are ALOT nicer!!!
been surprisingly on the cool side this june thus far ... my folks up in nj said they had the heat running the other night ... has it really been that cool up there this week? anyway, looks like this weekend into next week we'll finally start feeling the heat ... good beach weather
