    Hey Everyone!

    I juste added Degiro as my online broker, I am new to this stuff. I want to invest into US Vanguard ETFs but there is one thing I don't understand (I live in Hungary). When I search for Vanguard ETFs I don't get any of the US ones, even though they said that US stocks are available (NASDAQ, NYSE etc). I still get the S&P 500 ETF but it has an irish ISIN not the US one. They are either listed on the London Stock Exchange or the "Euronext Amsterdam". They also cost like 53$ while the US one is around 250 so I don't understand what is going on. What makes this even worse is that US stocks are really cheap to trade but British ones are not. I can't invets into the US vanguard ETFs? What is going on here?

    @CaptainCsaba

    that's strange....almost as if your broker has created a clone of the US ETF's, and you are only allowed to trade those?
    Try typing in one of these and see what happens:

    SPY
    IWM
    QQQ
    DIA

    The same. All irish ISIN codes listed on the London Stock Exchange. I don't understand.
