NEW PR...................Deep-South completes soil sampling in Zambia 2023-01-09 13:30 ET - News Release DEEP-SOUTH HAS COMPLETED A SOIL SAMPLING PROGRAMME ON 2 OF THE ZAMBIAN PROJECTS Deep-South Resources Inc. has completed the soil sampling program on the Luanshya West project and on the Chililabombwe project. The program on the Mpongwe project has been postponed to 2023 due to difficult weather. The program completed: Luanshya West Project (licence 23246): 1980 soil samples have been delivered to the laboratory for assays. The samples were collected on a regional grid of 500 x 100 and an infill grid of 100 x 100 metres. The program covered 3 targets where 5 large anomalies have been identified from soil sampling and geophysical survey results compiled by Teal in 2009. Assay results are expected during the month of January 2023 and will be disclosed to our shareholders in due course. The licence is situated in the center of the Zambian Copper belt and covers 5,423.26 hectares (54.24 Sq. Km). The project area is close to established copper / cobalt mines with Chibuluma South mine some 10 kms north-east of the project area; Chambishi mine 41Km north-northeast, N'changa mine 53Km north-northwest and Luanshya mine some 40Km east-southeast from the centre of the project area. A National Instrument 43-101 Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects ("43-101") compliant technical qualifying report is available on SEDAR at www.sedar.com under Deep-South's profile or on the Company's web site: www.deepsouthresources.com Chililabombwe Project (licence 23247): 124 soil samples have been delivered to the laboratory for assays. The samples were collected on a regional grid of 500 x 100 metres. Assay results are expected during the month of January 2023 and will be disclosed to our shareholders in due course. In this particular area, due to their abundance, termite mounds will be sampled rather than digging sample holes. This is because termites bring material to the surface from considerable depth and therefore sample at a greater depth than a regular soil sample. The licence is situated in the north of the Zambia Copper belt near the DRC border. The Large Exploration Licence covers 2,200 hectares (22.5 Sq, Km). The project is situated within 10 km of the Konkola Copper mine, one of the largest integrated copper mines in Zambia. Mpongwe Project (licence 23248). The program on this licence has been postponed to 2023 due to difficult weather. The program will resume when weather allows and when the area is dry enough to enable sample collection. This licence is situated on the southern side of the Zambian Copper belt. The Large Exploration Licence covers 67,500 hectares (675 Sq. Km). No Mineral Resources have been estimated on these projects as they have not demonstrated economic viability at this stage . The historical geophysical survey and sampling results demonstrate potential to classify the Luanshya West project as one of merit but are considered too speculative geologically to complete a NI 43-101 compliant resource estimation at this time and it is uncertain that those historic results will be converted into minerals resources. Qualified Person Vivian Suart-Willams MSc (Hons.) Pr.Sci.Nat., Vice-President Exploration of Deep-South Resources, has reviewed the technical content of this presentation, and is the designated Qualified Person under the terms of National Instrument 43-101. Mr. Stuart-Williams is responsible for the technical part of this press release.

NOT POSITIVE FOR DSM DEEP-SOUTH CLARIFIES TECHNICAL DISCLOSURE 2023-02-17 08:15 ET - News Release VANCOUVER, BC, Feb. 17, 2023 /PRNewswire/ - Deep-South Resources Inc. ("Deep-South" or the Company) (TSXV: DSM) announces that, as a result of a continuous disclosure review by the British Columbia Securities Commission (the "BCSC"), the Company is issuing the following news release to clarify its disclosure as it pertains to its Technical Report entitled "Haib Copper Project 2020 Preliminary Economic Assessment" on the Haib Copper project near Noordover in the south of Namibia ("Technical Report"). The Technical Report was filed on SEDAR on February 1, 2021. In order to satisfy several deficiencies with National Instrument 43- 101 - Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects ("NI 43-101") noted by the BCSC during its recent continuous disclosure audit of the Company, the Company understands it will need to amend the Technical Report accordingly. However, as the verdict of the High Court of Namibia concerning the review of the decision of the Minister of Mines of Namibia to not renew the Haib Copper licence is scheduled for February 23, 2023, the Company will await the verdict to make a decision to amend the Technical Report. Therefore, at the present time, Deep-South advises that the estimates and economic assessment in the current Technical Report should not be relied upon as they are not supported by a compliant NI 43-101 technical report. Further, in connection with the BCSC's recent continuous disclosure review of the Company, and separate from the Technical Report item addressed above, Deep-South will also update and clarify additional disclosure contained on its website and in its corporate presentation to address such comments.
Deep-South sees court push forward Haib licence renewal 2023-03-10 12:34 ET - News Release Mr. Pierre Leveille reports HAIB COPPER: THE RULE OF LAW PREVAILS IN NAMIBIA. THE HIGH COURT RENDERS VERDICT IN FAVOR OF DEEP-SOUTH The High Court of Namibia has rendered its judgment, and reviewed and set aside the decision of the minister not to renew Deep-South Resources Inc.'s Haib copper licence (EPL 3140). The effect of the order is that the minister must resume the licence renewal application procedure and arrive at a new decision. The court noted that the facts presented by Haib Minerals (Deep-South's subsidiary) should not have been ignored in the evaluation process. The judgment mentions that the minister and the mining commissioner did not consider the large investments carried out by Deep-South to develop a low-grade deposit. The court also states that the minister and the mining commissioner did not take into consideration the fact that the COVID-19 pandemic impacted the exploration program. The court also ordered the ministry to pay the legal costs of Haib Minerals. The minister and the mining commissioner have the right to appeal the judgement in the Supreme Court of Namibia. If they decide to lodge an appeal, the request shall be filed within 21 court days from the date of the judgement. Deep-South will now consult its legal advisers to prepare the way forward and pursue the licence renewal procedure. More information about the matter will be disclosed in due course. Pierre Leveille, president and chief executive officer of Deep-South, stated: "This is a very positive verdict, and we are confident to be able to create a new positive working relation with the minister and the new mining commissioner. It is also an important decision for Namibia, as it shows that the rule of law prevails in Namibia. Our board of directors would like to thank our shareholders for their strong support over all that difficult period." About Deep-South Resources Inc. Deep-South has "very constructive" meeting with Namibia 2023-04-17 10:30 ET - News Release Mr. Pierre Leveille reports HAIB COPPER: CONSTRUCTIVE MEETING AT THE MINISTRY OF MINES AND ENERGY OF NAMIBIA The directors of Deep-South Resources Inc. subsidiary Haib Minerals Pty. Ltd. have met with the Minister of Mines, the Mining Commissioner and the Deputy Executive Director. The meeting was held at the Ministry of Mines and Energy of Namibia on Thursday, April 13, 2023. The meeting was very constructive. The ministry has not appealed the High Court verdict. Positive for DSM As per the court verdict, the ministry has reopened the application renewal procedure for the Haib copper licence. The parties have agreed that Haib will provide additional information that covers the work completed between January, 2021 (application date), and June, 2021. No problem to provide info on work and $$$ EPL 3140 has been reinstated in the cadastre of the ministry. The cadastre shows that the licence is valid and pending renewal. Positive for DSM The ministry's officials have agreed that, upon reception of the documents from Haib, they will proceed promptly with the analysis of the application in order to finalize their decision in a timely fashion. FIRST SOIL SAMPLING ASSAY RESULTS ON THE LUANSHYA WEST PROJECT IN ZAMBIA VANCOUVER, BC, May 24, 2023 VANCOUVER, BC, May 24, 2023 /CNW/ - Deep-South Resources Inc. ("Deep-South" or the Company) (TSXV: DSM) announces the first results from the soil sampling program on the Luanshya West project in Zambia. Pierre Léveillé, President & CEO of Deep-South states: "These preliminary results are very encouraging as current and past mines on the Copperbelt have held thresholds in the range of 50ppm to 150ppm, averaging 80ppm copper and peak values in the range of 100ppm to 450ppm copper. We look forward to receiving the remaining assays pretty soon and to plan further work on the project. " Highlights: Multiple soil anomalies were defined with peak values of 332ppm copper and 282ppm cobalt in leached soil regimes. The five highest soil samples assay results for copper were determined to be: 332ppm, 286ppm, 272ppm, 253ppm and 247ppm. The five highest soil samples assay results for cobalt were determined to be: 282ppm, 179ppm, 174ppm and 159ppm, 151ppm. Results compare favourably with soil anomalies in the vicinity of various ore zones at current and past producing copper mines in Zambia. 841 samples were collected on the main grid of 500m x 100m. 1,270 samples were collected on 3 infil grids of 100m x 100m. Assay results from SGS received on 647 samples. 1,333 samples assay results are forthcoming. Upon reception of the full set of results from SGS, the sample results will be analyzed in detail to identify and delineate the anomalies. Based on these initial results additional soil sampling on tighter grids is likely after reception of all the results including the Luanshya west main grid and the additional 3 infill grids. Deep-South's geological team is currently proceeding with plans for a second phase of the soil sampling program. The Luanshya West exploration licence 23246-HQ-LEL is situated in the heart of the Zambian Copperbelt some 29km west of the Luanshya Copper Cobalt mine.
