Good things ahead imo in Q3 regarding the production of proteins from algae under partnership with the major Canadian oilsands producer and Fortune 500 company:
"...with a commercial supply contract potentially being entered into by years end"

With the project to consist of compensation of up to $1.0 million for the Pond, the company to date has reportedly collected $230,000 in revenue from the program. The company also expects to receive a further $850,000 for its efforts via the form of milestone payments, with a commercial supply contract potentially being entered into by years end.

Very interesting read on the huge potential of Pond. The upcoming Q4 will be very interesting for sure as Pond's pilot plant is anticipated to begin operating at British Sugar’s Wissington site. Great times ahead imo.

    Valuation US$0.65

    CONCLUSION
We believe that Pond Technologies is becoming well-positioned for winning additional contracts and can
execute well on its Livalta (AB Agri) relationship. Animal feed and methane reduction remain are favorite
growth catalysts for new contracts and project wins, in our view. We expect Pond to benefit from growing
awareness of and potential interest in its technology as environmental issues increasingly move into the
forefront for regulators, consumers and investors.

Pond Technologies CEO Grant Smith Wins Canada’s 2023 Clean50 Award
    Thursday, October 6, 2022
    https://www.accesswire.com/719350/Pond-Technologies-CEO-Grant-Smith-Wins-Canadas-2023-Clean50-Award

Mr. Smith was recognized in the Clean50 Clean Technology category for Pond's work in developing and commercializing its patented algae growth technology, which reduces carbon and creates sustainable biproducts. The company has developed and advanced ground-breaking technology that turns 2 tonnes of CO2 to grow 1 tonne of different kinds of valuable algae that in turn can be used in different and helpful ways. In an agreement dated September 7, 2021, Livalta (an AB AGRI Company) and Pond agreed to an exclusive global partnership to grow algae-based animal feed from CO2 emissions. The demonstration system will be used to grow algae strains for animal feed trials and the development of commercial animal feeds which will be sold by AB Agri. The Company is currently focused on completing this demonstration facility as well as progressing through its commercialization roadmap across a myriad of industries.

"I am extremely honoured to have been recognized by the Clean50 program in the category of clean technology, and I sincerely want to thank the entire team at Pond for their dedication in transitioning our Company from a research and development focus to commercialization of our robust technology globally.," said Grant Smith, CEO.

Pond's business relationship with multi-billion dollar company British Sugar/AB Agri is imo worth much more than the current low market cap. According to the AB Agri website plans already exist for a commercial-sized plant at producing 20,000 tons of spirulina from CO2 emissions.

    https://www.abagri.com/worlds-first-scalable-production-of-algae-from-carbon-emissions

"Plans are in place for Pond to install Livalta’s first pilot plant at British Sugar’s Wissington site in Norfolk in 2022. This will be followed by a commercial-sized plant at the same site producing 20,000 tons of spirulina from CO2 emissions, with the prospect of additional collaborations in the future to develop further production sites."

Great news today in my opinion. This is a major step for Pond's biotech division. According to the deep dive article from May 2022 there is the chance of "a commercial supply contract potentially being entered into by years end." The current low share price is a steal imo...

The remaining two months of Q4 will be very exciting. Lots of possible upcoming catalysts for the share price imo...
    • Pond's CO2 to algae pilot Livalta (AB Agri) plant is expected to begin operating in 4Q22. AB Agri is a subsidary of the 10 Billion market cap company Associated British Foods. (also see press release May 5, 2022)
    • Pond and SEM to initially focus on Scotland-based projects with the goal to abate 10,000 tonnes of CO2 from an identified waste to energy plant using stack gas. The project is expected to commence Q4 2022 with the project scope and revenue opportunity expected to be disclosed in more detail prior to the launch date. (also see press release June 16, 2022)
    • Results of the ongoing study regarding the announced Engagement with BioCarbN in Collaboration with Livalta/AB Agri and a Second Major Agriculture Business to Identify Methane Reducing Algae Feed Solutions in Cattle. (also see press release April 28, 2022)

Pond's technology uses CO2 waste streams and turns it into a valuable algae product. Once the pilot plant is up and running at the British Sugar site in Q4 and the technology further validated every company with similar waste streams will want Pond's technology to reduce their costs by turning their waste into money.
    A no-brainer.
The upside potential is imo obviously very huge in particlar considering the current low market cap.
    Great times ahead

Grant Smith, President and CEO of Pond, said: “Our pipeline is full as we continue to see significant demand around the world to deploy our patent protected technology into a variety of industries. In order to capture this demand, our short-term focus consists of two major initiatives. Firstly, we are scaling up our North American demonstration facility at St. Mary’s Cement in order to move prospects through our sales channel with the goal of capturing additional license revenue with prospects in our opportunities pipeline. Furthermore, we are focused and working towards securing longer term commercialization funding as we scale the business and progress on our commercial roadmap. We are making progress on both these initiatives and look forward to updating shareholders when appropriate. I also want to take this opportunity to reiterate the fact our management team and Board of Directors continue to show strong support for the future of Pond with members participating for over $550,000 into our recent private placements. We remain dedicated to enhancing shareholder value over the long term and we look forward to keeping investors apprised of those details as we move through 2023.”

Pond Announces that AB Agri has Begun to Grow Algae Following the Delivery of a Pond Algae Lab
    https://finance.yahoo.com/news/pond-announces-ab-agri-begun-130000782.html

    Pond Technologies Holdings Inc.
    Wed, December 14, 2022

MARKHAM, ON / ACCESSWIRE / December 14, 2022 / Pond Technologies Holdings Inc. ("Pond") (TSX.V POND)(OTCQB PNDHF)(FSE:4O0), an ESG company addressing global sustainability challenges of wellness and climate change, is providing an update on its agreement with Livalta, an AB Agri company, a subsidiary of Associated British Foods (LSE:ABF). Pond is pleased to report that the installation of an algae lab, along with a number of Pond designed algae bioreactors, has been successfully installed on site at AB Agri's British Sugar plant in Wissington, UK.

Pond built a system of smaller 60 L bioreactors and controls at its Canadian headquarters in Markham, Ontario, and has delivered, installed, and commissioned the system at the AB Agri Wissington location. Pond worked with AB Agri to specify the equipment needed to set up the lab which is an important step to support the 1,500 L and 10,000 L pilot bioreactors in Wissington in 2023. The initial algae grown in this lab will be used in the bioreactor scale up process.

Valerie Schuster, Managing Director of Livalta (a division of AB Agri) said: "This is our first step towards piloting Pond's technology to grow algae using CO2 emissions as feedstock - or, as we would put it, take a problem (CO2 emissions) out of the air and convert it into high value protein. There is still some way to go, but we have made a start with a great team effort between Livalta, AB Agri, British Sugar and Pond Technologies."

Grant Smith, President & CEO at Pond said: "Installing the lab and initial seed train is the first stage in any algal project because doing so permits larger commercial scale photobioreactors. We are excited to report that algae growth has begun, and we anticipate that larger bioreactors will go online in 2023."
